How Mental Health Care Works Through Telehealth
Telehealth appointments provide a convenient and private setting to discuss your concerns, review symptoms, and develop an individualized treatment plan. Care may include medication management, lifestyle recommendations, follow-up visits, or referral to a mental health specialist when appropriate. Mental health care is provided by a board-certified family physician as part of primary care. We do not provide psychotherapy or crisis services.
Controlled Substance Prescribing Policy
Certain medications used to treat ADHD, anxiety, and insomnia are controlled substances. Under our practice policy, controlled substances are not prescribed through telehealth without an initial in-person medical examination with Dr. Norman. An in-person examination does not guarantee a prescription.
In-person visits are anticipated to begin in December 2026 at our Voorhees, NJ office.
Telehealth appointments are available for eligible patients located in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Georgia.
If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or having thoughts of harming yourself or others, call or text 988 for immediate crisis support. Call 911 if there is immediate danger.
