  • At this time, Norman Family Medicine operates as a self-pay/ DPC Membership and does not bill insurance.

    We are actively credentialing with insurance carriers and will notify patients once participation becomes available.

  • Most of our members maintain a high-deductible or major medical plan to cover emergencies, specialist visits, and hospitalizations. Think of it as a partnership: your insurance is there for the "what ifs," while your Norman Family Medicine membership provides premium, personalized care for the "right nows"—covering about 90% of your day-to-day health needs.

  • Generally, yes! Many patients successfully use their HSA or FSA funds to cover Direct Primary Care (DPC) memberships. Because plan rules can vary, we suggest double-checking with your account administrator or a tax professional to confirm your specific coverage and maximize your benefits.

  • Services such as labs, imaging, and specialist care are not included in DPC membership or visit fees.

    However, we will:

    • Help coordinate your care

    • Provide referrals

    • Guide you to cost-effective options whenever possible

  • Norman Family Medicine does not provide emergency care.

    If you are experiencing a medical emergency:

    • Call 911

    • Go to the nearest emergency room immediately

  • We serve adolescent 12yrs and older only.

  • Yes. Many patients choose to have insurance for:

    • Emergencies

    • Hospital care

    • Specialist services

    DPC works alongside insurance but does not replace it.
